New Comic Wednesday: Batman and Shazam... everywhere

I am sure, if you follow any comic book or Star Wars page you probably have seen the many variant covers Marvel has been putting out since they are releasing Star Wars again. You know that they are going to take full advantage of Star Wars, one of the biggest merchandisers. Disney is making me poor... My favorite is this Spiderman cover spin-off. Leia can save herself... to a point.
Probably my favorite variant announcements are the DC Movie Poster variants. Anyone attracted to men knows they love the Magic Mike Justice League variant. It's the greatest, you have to admit it! My second favorite is the Wonder Woman 300 poster. I wish they chose a different character to have the Jailhouse Rock cover. Elvis is my favorite, but as some of you know Harley isn't my favorite.

While the previous week results in not having any comics to read, the week after just comes with too many comics. It's a curse, isn't? Anyway, are we coming closer to what is the cause of the end of the multiversity. It always seems like we go to another issue, and just come out with more questions. At least the guide comes out soon!
What have we learned in this issue, besides Sivana has contacted his multiverse selves and came out with one good self? Never trust a man... no that's not it. Don't give out your last name on the first date...? Let's stick with important things. We have learned that Shazam is pretty cool, I like Tiger Shazam, but that is only because I love tigers. Still, I hope the guide helps. I'm still lost. I don't know much about the multiverse. I'm reading Infinite Crisis: Fight for the multiverse, and they are more straightforward with their evil.

The moment we have been waiting for! Or at least I have been waiting for it... the Batfamily is out of danger... for now... and into the batcave. Might want Alfred to prepare some revitalizing food because I'm sure Darkseid and his son wants to go wreak havoc. I kind of wish this comic was a little more popular because DC releasing both Batman and Batman and Robin 37 out on the same week kills me. And I don't know if I can be revived with a chaos shard... but it would be cool wouldn't? I probably would get super powers!
I can also say that my prediction for how Robin comes back was WRONG. Not that it is a big deal being wrong. Find out how he really comes back in Batman and Robin 37... that's not a spoiler because we knew it was coming. Don't you love happy endings... sort of...? I wonder how Damien would react to Dick Grayson beint dead... sort of. This is assuming this story-line is different from the regular Batman story line. Batman has 99 problems but Talia ain't one.

Lastly, the masterpiece of comics. Batman. Truly, with every major event Batman get's crazy good. With the whole city going after Batman like the Justice League, Batman is still trying to save the city and the friends that are trying to hurt him. And laugh while doing so. It's crazy how laughs can carry viruses. Hopefully no one picks up this comic and gets any crazy ideas. Don't be a Sivana. That is the real lesson today on this comic Wednesday. I don't want to say too much because I do not even know how to explain it in words how crazy Batman is. The joker really whipped up his own masterpiece while Snyder whips up a comic masterpiece. I swear, people need to realize the grandness of comic books. Not just the collecting side of it, the actual stories that come out with these infinite possibilities.
Like in every event-related issue the art is always fantastic, and creepy (as it should be in this comic). Can Batman find a cure to save his city? Is Joker just some crazy mad scientist?
As always I root for the good guy! Team Batman!

New Comic Wednesday: Spoiler Alert! Literally... Beware!

Stephanie Brown is back as Spoiler! That's super exciting. She is one of my favorite Batgirls, though i don't really dislike any of the Batgirls. However, I want some Cassandra Cain! She is my favorite batgirl! [edit from 9/20/14 finally got to read Batgirl: Futures End, loved it, but Barbara got so freakishly strong and big for her size... Weird. Anyway, I don't like Cassandra Cains costume in that comic, but glad to see she still exist in the comics. Also, love that I have to remember another Robins name... Cause I have to and want to in Batman and Robin: futures end]. Not much to say about the latest Batman Eternal. I was about to stop following it, but then they released Stephanie Brown as Spoiler again. Though, I love this new look to spoiler. The only real difference is that you can see Stephanie Brown's face instead of it being fully covered, but it's still so much better than the old costume in my opinion.
Not going to touch much on Futures end, but there's a life/relationship lesson in that issue for you guys! Don't lie to your girlfriend forever and expect them to still love you. Geez, Tim. I guess Supergirl and Raven didn't teach you anything.

This week, another Multiversity book comes out! This time it is Society of Superheroes with another universes Doctor Fate! Sorry, I just think Doctor Fate is kinda cool. Also featuring, devil-like green lantern and a teenage boy that wears a mask that looks like Dr. Manhattan. Though, he isn't exactly a devil, he is an alien.  Nothing much has changed from the first multiversity book, comics are still evil and cursed!
Every universe seems to be crumbling one after the other. So, in this comic, Doctor fate decides to create the S.O.S. (For you otakus, not to be confused with the SOS brigade.) otherwise known as the Society of Superheroes! Since he doesn't think he can stop his world from crumbling, he hopes he can at least warn other worlds. Hopefully, they can find Nix Uotan wherever he may be.
I found this comic easier to read than Multiveristy, it just seemed more interesting in my opinion, even though Multiversity #1 got a lot of ads from DC leading up to the release. Also, I love this version of Doctor Fate. He doesn't need magic to beat the bad guys!

If you get Infinite Crisis: Fight for the Multiverse, you get a code to unlock Atomic Wonder Woman! I might play the game now... Atomic Wonder Woman looks badass. But once again, a cover has fooled me into thinking their would be something in the issue, when there isn't... On the cover it has a cool looking Poison Ivy. But she wasn't in the comic. Unless i missed something.

Of all the comics I have been reading, I still find Injustice and Futures End to be both exciting and easy to read. Something exciting always happens, so i can't help but buy those books. I have been reading some Futures End titles, and I don't know what the point is with some of them. I like Jason Todd, but the Futures end books barely fit in to the actual Futures End title. We'll at least Next week they're going to have Superman Futures End. Maybe we will find out why Superman doesn't want to fight crime anymore! Until next week!
Now....
...I'll just put this here...

New Comic Wednesday: What on Earth is happening to the multiverse?

It's filled with a bunch of characters we are still unsure of, they aren't the familiar Batman and Superman of the earth we've grown accustomed to in this revamped universe. Though, I wonder about Multiversity #1. How the thoughts on writing it progressed. They advertise it like it's evil and cursed! Is this the ring in comic book form?

I'm so confused I don't know if I could keep reading. I just know that this could really be the end if the DC universe! Plus I wonder if this book connected to Infinite Crisis: Fight for the Multiverse. Everything is moving at different paces that I'm confused with what direction DC has with all these books about the end of the world.

Though, with the introduction of Nix Uotan in Infinite Crisis, I assume they are related and will eventually be on the same pace. I should have ready Infinite Crisis #2 first....
Though, I do love the different characters in the comic. A whole universe of Black superheroes. Then there are characters that look like marvel characters. Is this DC's attack? After all there is a character with a symbol that looks like deadpools, but the character is nothing like deadpool. Then, there is the character that looks a lot like Doctor Doom. But my favorite has to be the mini-Wonder woman and Aquawoman (not to be confused with Mera), a gender bender version of Aquaman. Blonde hair and orange-scale suit is included.
Other than that, everything else just makes me super confused. Like, should rabbits break the concept of science itself with his cartoony self? Also, will we follow the voice in the comic and be so weirded out that we would stop reading? I kinda just want to know who the voice is!

A comic I feel more comfortable reading is the Infinite Crisis comic, only because the characters are familiar. Just because the characters are familiar the story is easier to read in a way. Though, the two stories will eventually connect I believe.
My wish is slowly coming true. Zatanna, Flash, and Cyborg are trying to look for Batman. Zatanna finds batman, but Hogwarts didn't teach her how to find the batman of their universe (yay for multiple Batmans... Now give me multiple Nightwings)! Flash's joke was better... I know.

I have to settle for a crazy looking robin for now. And batman that is... Batman and not just any batman, he's the Batman. I guess Bruce doesn't get this multiverse stuff yet. After all... THERE COULD ONLY BE ONE! The batman that appears briefly trying to eat Zatanna and the gang looks pretty cool though! He reminds me of earlier issues of Batman and Detective comics, when he had longer ears and looked like a vampire.
Will our portion of the Justice League meet Batman's new team assembled to save the multiple universes? Or will they be stuck between the universes and the "bleed"? When will there be more Batmans? I still call for an army of Batmans (and Nightwings)!

Later today or tomorrow I will say a few things  about the last installment of Deadpool: Dracula's gauntlet and Batman and Robin (Robin Rises part two).
