New Comic Wednesday: Who would win in a fight? Superman or Batman...

The real question is Superman or Goku... but if you knew both sides well you would know the answer,  sorry...
Anyway!
The Eternal Jester Prince is back. Officially.
Behind the face of someone we thought was harmless lied the face of someone incredibly dangerous. We can barely understand or predict! That's what is so great about the joker. A criminal mastermind that is totally random. At least I don't think like the joker, so I wouldn't know.
But what was this second story in the back of batman? Robot Joker Apocalypse! It will be continued, so hopefully we understand more.
But... joker might be the eternal jester prince, but batman is the eternal darkness king! The dark knight! People are gonna ask me, do you think batman is dead? Obviously not, batman has future issues planned out. But even if the previews book didnt exist... batman won't die until Dick Grayson is back to take over.
Evem if he is dead. Guess what is out now? Remastered Batman ... Adam... West version! And my first love BURT WARD!

Now to try to balance my life out with a Marvel comic. I should have bought Superior Iron Man... I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHO THE NEW THOR IS! From what I can understand... she has to be a normal human. Cause she talks like an asgardian, but she thinks like a regular human... almost like a teenager. Ugh. This makes me mad. I'm almost ready to just skim through. We know who captain america is, but who is she?!

New Comic Wednesday: Number Freaking Ones.

Once again the comic industry knows how to take my money. I have one more book that I might put on my subscription: Bucky Barnes Winter Soldier. But if course I am gonna wait to see if I like it enough for the next few issues to keep collecting it. It's the rule to comic book readers. There are a lot of Number Ones this week so I will read as much as I can... While I am in class... Haha I know... Such a Rebel...

But first, Gotham is getting pretty good. I'm waiting for the major WOW factor. Or a major story arc like they do in comic books. I guess next episode they will have Professor Pyg... Ugh. Out of all the villains I DO NOT like Professor Pyg. He is so creepy... Every time he appears in the comics, I cringe. I'd rather die a brutal death, then deal with Professor Pyg.
I also can't wait to see Flash and Arrow! Especially since they are having a cross over event for their first episode. I think that's cool. I've only ever seen it in cartoons. Speaking of Flash... They have Flash Season Zero #1, which I am excited to read

The first book I read in my subscription was Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier. Earlier, I said I might read it, but I am not 100% sure that I will be collecting it monthly. I love the scenic art, it's really nicely colored and looks like concept art for sci-fi movie scenes. Though, I don't like the character art. It's really dark, which is acceptable for Winter Soldier's character, but the faces just don't look that good to me. Good art is a big factor for me. I have stopped collecting books based on art alone. I'm not the only one that has done that, I'm sure.
Not just that, they do a more abstract way to do panels. Though it's easy to see what quote comes first, it's hard to see who is saying what. That's just a combination of not being able to see a lot of details of the characters. There's not a lot of color, not a lot of details. It's really abstract, it's an interesting way to approach comic book writing, but I personally would avoid doing something like this when I write my own book. Half way through, the book I had to put it down... I might finish reading it later. But I'll put it down for now for my other books.
I'm actually really disappointed that the book wasn't released earlier, nor made better. Captain America 2 was SO GOOD! Yet, they waited forever to actually release something somewhat related to him. They released Rocket Raccoon and Star Lord BEFORE guardians of the galaxy came out. And that movie itself was a gamble because no one knew who they were. In a way I understand because the Winter Soldier in the movie and the Winter Solider in the comic are significantly different and not a lot of people know that Bucky was Captain America for a bit as a good guy. Oops was that a spoiler for some people... Now you know. It's not that big of a spoiler is been around for a while.
Anyway, abstract isn't bad, I just don't personally like it. The most abstract in comics I will get is Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth. It's not as abstract, but outside of the Comic book creating norms.

Moving on, I picked up Flash Season Zero #1 because I'm excited about all the successful DC TV shows. Only if they can put this much effort in their movies my life would be perfect right now. Just one more week till we see the cutie, Barry Allen or by his real-life/human name Grant Gustin. I just wish he was blonde. Oh well, Gustin is still a cutie. I was never really a huge fan of Flash, but I love that he can time travel because of his ability to move super fast. Flashpoint was a really good animated movie, so I do not doubt that Flash the TV series can do really good.
I like the fact that they have the comic based on his development of becoming a hero, which leaves me wondering how the first episode is going to go. It's an interesting standpoint to find out how he is feeling as he is developing his control on his powers, knowing his limits, and knowing what he must do to become a masked hero. I can't help but wonder, is this what high school was like for Barry Allen? Can't make a name for himself and can't get the girl cause she is with some douche?

Now, the anticipated, going to at least third print, comic... Not Thor girl, not Lady Thor, just... THOR #1. In Original Sin, Thor has lost his hammer because of a whisper! After reading this comic, I can only guess what it was: "you smell like poop." Just kidding. In all honesty, I think it has to do something with R-E-S-P-E-C-T... Find out what it means to me! I lied, I can't be fully serious. With all this pro-women stuff like people saying they are ready for Hillary Clinton and something stupid about Birth control, I wouldn't be surprised that Thor has become unworthy because he doesn't respect women enough. We're just in the stage of life where equality has to be shown everywhere, including comics. Everyone in Asgard(ia) is trained in the old ways... The man being the power of the house and what not. All the men on the moon tried to lift the hammer, but couldn't. As everyone left, there was Freyja left.
I wouldn't be surprised if she had something to do with this, or was the new Thor herself. Though, I don't know if she would hurt her son in that way. Though, I don't know how far she would go for women to be (meaning, mostly her) to be on the same level as men (her husband). Will we ever know who is the Female Thor?
Side note. Is (marvel) Thor's birth name Thor, or do people just call him that because he was the god of thunder. I know Norse Mythology, but this isn't a myth, it's a comic based on a myth. I'm just saying it would be awkward to say Thor and they both answer... Haha. Very serious.

Anyway, I still have comics to read, but I need to post something. If I feel like there is something important to share, I will try to post something later. I must get back to class... And read later. Also out this week are my favorite blue-eyed hunks, Grayson and Starlord, then Lobo #1 that I think my friend ComicNerdOptimist is excited about, and the start of Godhead! Until next week, or next post!

New Comic Wednesday: Finally, WHAT'S UNDER THE MASK?!

Oh. My. God. It's juicer than I thought, I thought I'd be satisfied once I found out what was under the mask. After one mystery reveals itself another one just pops up! Ugh... I really don't want to spoil what is under that mask, but I was not expecting it. Whoever was expecting it has to be a psychic or something...
For those of you that are in the fandom of SupermanxLois Lane, don't get too excited. I know how intimate the picture is, but it saddens me too. I do like Clark and Lois together. Just create a fan fiction based on the picture.
------------------------------------------
*Spoilers*
I can't really say much else about the comic if I don't spoil it, so the rest of this paragraph will be a spoiler. Read if you don't mind getting spoiled. Not even Lois Lane knew what was behind the mask, she wanted to find out herself. But, who else has similar powers to Superman? Well, it's the kid turned into an adult superhero of course! I know, I'm shocked too! It takes me a while to really understand what's going on in the story. So, if you were keeping up with the Kardashians (just kidding, why would you do that?) then you would know that everyone seems to be talking about this war that changed everybody and everything. Green Arrow is dead (again), Stormwatch is gone (mostly), and we are trying to see if the horrific event that kills everyone in the universe is stopped.
*End Spoilers*
----------------------------------------
The part with Supermans mask is pretty much the only part I actually cared about. So, here a quick thing with everyone else in this issue. Constantine is looking for some monster in the middle of the desert. Deathstroke is with his "family" dealing with OMAC stuff. Hawk girl makes a brief apperance, I assume she is about to start some shit. Though, there is a guest apperance in the end of the issue, who is it, and why do we care?!
Surprise, Thor does have a sister, and it's Loki! Just kidding, had to get my laughs in. Loki has been a girl before, so were used to it. In the last issue, Loki turned into a girl to be with the winged race (minus one person with no wings- Angela. Figures the one name Angela is the least like an angel). Thor is shocked to see that Loki has betrayed him (again). Though, we always know Loki has something up his sleeve. After all, this is agent Loki. Though, there is still old Loki somewhere out there observing everyone.
Also, for those of you Spawn lovers, yes, Angela is originally from spawn. From my understandings from people I talk to in the shop, Angela was created by Neil Gaiman (Sandman). He sold the rights to Angela to Marvel. I don't know why they couldn't just leave Angela where she was, and just create another pacemaker bad ass, but whatever.
I'm really following this because I want to know if this story leads to female Thor. What made Thor so unworthy?

The decimals of The Marvel universe.

I usually don't read or collect the decimal point issues that marvel has. It just ends up being never-ending sometimes (not really, they only had five other points to add to 700). Though, we had extra copies of Original Sin (the one with no S at the end) #5.1 today, so I thought that I would read it.
Anyway, I at first didn't want to read the point one issue because it's always just aside story that they just couldn't fit into the story for some reason. However, to justify it, it's going to have a decimal number! It's almost like DC's Zero issues in the middle of the run. I thought, "why not?" This one has Thor and LOKI in it. I love me some Norse mythology.
In this issue Thor gets a vision from the Watcher's eye about a sister, who was known to be dead. She's thought to be dead, but Thor is gonna look for her anyway with the help of his mischievous brother!
I think I see what's coming though in the next issue. They find who they believe (or who probably is) Thor's sister, and she lived in this realm that is probably the equivalent to our universes' Pluto, and she hates the living guts of Thor. They fight. And... That's all I got.
The only thing is what does the Old Loki have to do with all this? He has something to do with everything, I'm sure.

To people that know me, yes I am trying to read some of the Marvel issues we have left over in the shop so I don't seem too DC crazy.

Angel and X-23 becoming a thing? It's not really a spoiler according to the next cover of All Nex X-Men.

But who isn't X-23 kissing on a cover?

Don't get me wrong, I love both characters separately. But how will they be together? You see the bad ass Angel on his motor bike. No one knows why... You have wings dude! Then, you get to the end. I'm not really spoiling anything THAT important throughout the issue. Though,  Marvel should just rename Cyclopes as "Bike Bitch,"
"Where's my bike?!"
First X-Men movie reference. High five!

Also, if you are not reading the Injustice comic (the comic that the fighting game is based off of) you should get it! The storyline is ten times better than the game! It goes more in-depth than the game ever could go into. Also, the reason for Superman for going over the deep end is so much more reasonable and it makes you have deep feelings for the characters. The feels are string with this one!
The latest issue of Injustice, Harley Quinn has a touching moment with Black Canary. Both their men were killed by the same super powered man. Plus you learn something crazy about this univereses Harley! It really is worth reading if you are a Harley Quinn fan.
Also, I really wasn't to know how Batman is alone in the game in the end. It would have been cool to have other batfamily characters in the game other than Batgirl.
